1.1. Hashtap Services - websites, services, mobile applications, products, and content owned by Hashtap.
1.2. Hashtap Website User (hereinafter referred to as "User") - an individual who has access to the Hashtap.com website through the internet and uses the website for personal or corporate purposes.
1.3. Cookies - small pieces of data sent by a web server and stored on a user's computer, which the web client or web browser sends back to the web server with each subsequent HTTP request when trying to open a page on the corresponding website.
1.4. IP Address - a unique network address of a node in an IP-based computer network.
1.5. Personal Data - any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (data subject).
1.6. Processing of Personal Data - any action (operation) or set of actions (operations) performed with or without the use of automation tools on personal data, including collection, recording, systematization, accumulation, storage, updating, modification, retrieval, use, transfer (distribution, provision, access), anonymization, blocking, deletion, destruction of personal data.
2. General Provisions
2.1. The use of the Hashtap website by the User implies agreement with the Privacy Policy and the conditions for processing the User's personal data.
2.2. If the User disagrees with the terms of the Privacy Policy, they must cease using the Hashtap website and delete their account.
2.3. Hashtap does not control or take responsibility for third-party websites that the User may access through links available on the Hashtap website.
2.4. Hashtap does not verify the accuracy of personal data provided by Users.
2.5. Hashtap reserves the right to make changes to the Privacy Policy without the User's consent.
3. Information We Collect
3.1. The Privacy Policy establishes the obligations of the Hashtap website regarding the non-disclosure and protection of the confidentiality of personal data provided by the User when registering an account with Hashtap.
3.2. When you authenticate (login/create an account) through a third-party service such as Google, Facebook, VK, and Twitter, we may collect and store the following information:
- Your last name and first name
- Date of birth
- Profile picture from the social network account
- Email address
- Login service identifier
3.3. Hashtap protects the data automatically transmitted during the viewing of advertising blocks and when visiting pages where the statistical script of the system (pixel) is installed. This includes:
- IP address
- Information from cookies
- Information about the browser (or other program accessing the display of advertisements)
- Information about the mobile device
- Access time
- Address of the page where the advertising block is located
- Referrer (address of the previous page)
3.3.1. Disabling cookies may result in the inability to access Hashtap Services that require authentication and personalization.
3.3.2. When you use Hashtap Services, we may collect and store your IP address. We may use this information to combat spam and other abuses, personalize Hashtap Services, or generate aggregate non-identifying information about how people use Hashtap Services.
3.4. Any other personal information not specified above (such as browsers used, operating systems, etc.) shall be securely stored and not disclosed, except as provided in clauses 5.2 and 5.3 of the Privacy Policy.
4. Purposes of Collecting User's Personal Data
4.1. Hashtap may use the User's Personal Data for the following purposes:
4.1.1. Providing the User with access to personalized resources of Hashtap Services.
4.1.2. Establishing feedback with the User, including sending notifications, inquiries regarding the use of Hashtap Services, providing services, processing requests and applications from the User.
4.1.3. Determining the User's location for security purposes and fraud prevention.
4.1.4. Verifying the accuracy and completeness of the Personal Data provided by the User.
4.1.5. Providing the User with efficient customer and technical support in case of any issues related to the use of Hashtap Services.
4.1.6. Providing the User, with their consent, with product updates, special offers, newsletters, and other information on behalf of Hashtap Services or its partners.
4.1.7. Conducting advertising activities with the User's consent.
4.1.8. Providing the User with access to websites or services of Hashtap partners for obtaining products, updates, and services.
5. Emails from Hashtap
5.1. Occasionally, we send administrative messages regarding changes to your account or service, or new provisions of the Privacy Policy. You cannot opt out of them. You can always unsubscribe from non-administrative emails such as weekly newsletters.
5.2. We will not send you emails requesting your password or other account information. If you receive such an email, please forward it to us so that we can investigate it.
6. Methods and Processing Periods of Personal Data
6.1. User's personal data is processed without any time limitations, using any lawful methods, including personal data information systems with or without the use of automation tools.
6.2. As a general rule, we do not disclose your personal information to third parties. We will not sell your personal information. However, we may disclose your personal information to third parties under limited circumstances, including:

6.3. 6.5. Hashtap takes necessary organizational and technical measures to protect the User's personal information from unauthorized or accidental access, destruction, alteration, blocking, copying, dissemination, and other unauthorized actions by third parties.
6.6. If we merge with another company and your data becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy, we will notify you before the transfer. You can opt out of the new Privacy Policy by deleting your account within the notification period.
7. Obligations of the Parties
7.1. The User shall:
7.1.1. Provide the necessary personal data required for using Hashtap Services.
7.1.2. Update and supplement the provided personal data in case of any changes.
7.2. Hashtap shall:
7.2.1. Use the received information solely for the purposes stated in Section 4 of the Privacy Policy.
7.2.2. Ensure the storage of confidential information, not disclose it without the User's prior written permission, and refrain from selling, exchanging, publishing, or otherwise disclosing the transferred personal data, except as specified in Sections 6.2 and 6.3 of the Privacy Policy.
7.2.3. Take precautions to protect the confidentiality of the User's personal data in accordance with the usual practice for protecting such information in the existing business environment.
7.2.4. Block personal data related to the respective User from the moment of the User's request or request from their legal representative or authorized body for the protection of personal data subjects' rights, in case of identifying inaccurate personal data or unlawful actions.
8. Cookies Files
8.1. We use cookies and similar technologies such as pixels and local storage to recognize you when you return to our Services. We use them in various ways:

10. Changing Your Personal Information or Deleting Your Account
10.1. If you have a Hashtap account, you can access and modify your personal information or delete your account on the Settings page.
10.2. To protect information from accidental or malicious destruction, we may not immediately delete residual copies from our active servers and may not remove information from our backup systems.
10.3. If you delete your account, your account and content may not be recoverable.
11. Data Security
11.1. We use encryption (HTTPS/TLS) to protect data transmitted to and from our site. However, data transmission over the Internet is not 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee its security.
11.2. You use Hashtap services at your own risk, and you are responsible for taking reasonable measures to protect your account (e.g., using a securely protected social media account for login).
11.3. In the event of loss or disclosure of confidential data, Hashtap shall not be held responsible.
12. Dispute Resolution
12.1. Before filing a lawsuit for disputes arising between the User of Hashtap Services and Hashtap, it is mandatory to submit a claim (written proposal for voluntary dispute resolution).
12.2. Within 30 calendar days from the date of receiving the claim, the recipient of the claim shall inform the claimant in writing about the results of claim consideration.
12.3. If an agreement is not reached, the dispute shall be referred to a court in accordance with the applicable laws of the country where Hashtap's legal entity is registered.
12.4. The Privacy Policy and the relationship between the User and Hashtap are governed by the current legislation of the country where Hashtap's legal entity is registered.
13. Changes to This Policy
13.1. Hashtap may periodically update the Privacy Policy. We will inform you of any significant changes.
14. Data Protection for European Union Users (GDPR)
14.1. Hashtap collects and stores personal information about its users to customize their reading experience and enable individual content distribution. Hashtap shares minimal data with its service providers.
14.2. Processing purposes:
- Providing, testing, promoting, and improving Hashtap Services.
- Collecting usage statistics of Hashtap Services.
- Providing personalized reading experience (content customization).
- Publishing and distributing user-generated content.
- Combating spam, fraud, and other abuses of the services.
14.3. For the provision of Hashtap services, we collect and store personal data about our users to fulfill our contractual obligations to users in accordance with our Terms of Service.
Hashtap also pursues its legitimate interests by collecting minimal data about registered users to provide the Services as stated above, as well as to prevent new users on a trial from exceeding their maximum limit of free articles per month. These legitimate interests do not outweigh (and do not violate) the privacy interests of our users since we collect minimal user data for these purposes and fully disclose these actions.
In cases where Hashtap collects and stores personal data about users mentioned in user-generated content, it does so to fulfill contractual obligations to users who use Hashtap Services to publish content on Hashtap. In such cases, users creating such user-generated content containing personal data of third parties are responsible for that content. Hashtap will address relevant complaints.
Hashtap also pursues its legitimate interests by collecting minimal data about registered users to provide the services as stated above, as well as to prevent new users on a trial from exceeding their maximum limit of free articles per month. 14.4. Logged-in users can publicly interact with Hashtap services in the form of reading articles, subscribing to other user accounts, subscribing to boards and tags, commenting on articles, or writing original articles. If such personal data may disclose data protected by a special category, they are processed based on being explicitly made public by the user. Additional information on potential consequences of such processing can be found below. If you disagree with this public use, do not create an account and do not use these features of Hashtap Services.
Search engines may index your Hashtap profile page, public interactions (e.g., reading articles, subscribing to other accounts), and pages of your articles. Users may also share links to your content on social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, VKontakte, LinkedIn, Reddit, Pinterest, Telegram, and Odnoklassniki.

Registered users:
- Username

- Profile biography/description

- Network interactions (recommends, follows, etc.)
- Articles, responses, or boards published by the user
14.6. Hashtap shares minimal personal data with third-party services to provide Hashtap Services. These services offer at least the same level of data protection as stated in this statement. This includes the following categories of recipients:
- Hosting, storage, and other infrastructure
- Security
- Analytics
- Communication and support
14.7. By creating and using an account on Hashtap, users may make certain personal data about themselves publicly accessible and available to others in their profile and through network interactions. In some cases, this may involve data protected by a special category that the user explicitly considers public.
Due to the public nature of the information posted on Hashtap, third parties may obtain identifying personal data from articles, whether through reading, deducing, further research, or automated extraction and analysis.
Users are free to use their real name and information or a pseudonym of their choice for their account. Users may also choose to use Hashtap Services without publishing articles (data) or engaging in network interactions. However, if you do not agree with and accept the risks of such use, you do not have the right to use Hashtap Services.
14.8. Hashtap is hosted (server-side) in the United States. By using Hashtap Services, you authorize Hashtap to transmit, store, and use your information in the United States and any other country where we operate. In cases where your data is transmitted to our partners, they are subject to at least the same level of data protection as stated in this statement.
14.9. Hashtap retains personal data associated with your account for the duration of your account's existence. If you wish to delete your personal information, you can delete your account at any time by notifying the support team at info@hashtap.com, and the support agents will delete your account. Deleted profile pages will result in a 404 "page not found" error immediately after the deletion process starts and will become unrecoverable in our system after fourteen days. It may take additional days for your personal data to be deindexed from search engines, depending on the practices of those search engines, over which Hashtap may have limited or no control.
14.10. Data subject rights
If you register for a Hashtap account, you can request the export of your personal information from the Settings page at any time. You can correct information associated with your account on the Settings page. You can withdraw consent by deleting your account at any time through the support agents (notify the support team at info@hashtap.com), which will completely remove your personal information within 14 days (except where prohibited by law for Hashtap to delete your information). You can object to the use of your personal data at any time by contacting privacy@hashtap.com. If your complaint concerns the alleged unauthorized use of your personal data by a third party, it may result in the suspension of that account in accordance with applicable law, public interests, our contractual obligations, and the rights to expression and access to information of other individuals. Under EU law, you have the right to lodge a complaint regarding the processing of your personal data by Hashtap with the supervisory authority of your EU Member State.
14.11. For security and account ownership verification purposes, we process access requests and account deletion requests only from the account owner. We cannot process requests from third-party services or users.
